PEKANBARU - In order to support a good development planning and integrated of the marine and fisheries Sector, Department of Marine and Fisheries of Riau Province carry out the Technical Coordination Meeting (Rakornis) Construction of Marine and Fisheries of Riau Province in 2017, at the Grand Jatra Hotel, Pekanbaru, Monday (13/2).
The Governor of Riau represented by Plt (Acting) Head of Marine and Fisheries Department of Riau Province Nafilson said the Province of Riau has huge potential in the field of marine and fisheries because it has sea and vast waters.
"This grace that should be exploited and enhanced by good to improve the welfare of society of Riau in particular," says Nafilson.
Further Plt Head of Department of Marine and Fisheries of Riau, tells us that this moment must be used well, to synergize the programmes and priorities of marine and fishery development activities, in order for the creation of marine and fishery development acceleration gradually and may soon be realised.
"If planning is structured well and true, then Insha Allah approximately 70% will be successful. Because marine and fisheries development success begins with the good planning process," he added.
In his opening remarks, the Governor of Riau hopes with this Rakornis able to generate a quality program, so as to improve the welfare of the community and the business world to continue expanding in the fields of marine and fishery as well as strengthen relations of partnership with the local corporate world or national.
"Let's establish marine and fisheries development plan in Riau Province, according to Rakornis theme this time i.e., Realising the construction of marine and fisheries As the leading Sector in the Province." said Governor of Riau.
Meanwhile, Maruli Siregar as the Chairman said that the purpose of this Rakornis, is the synergy of development policy and strategy mission of Riau Province in the form of programs and activities that support the development of the marine and fisheries 2018, unifying the perception in the preparation of the planning service between 2018 between marine and fisheries Regency/City to proposed into RAPBD of Riau Province and RAPBN, as well as bringing together the nation and movement of marine and fisheries reform measures in the national program implementation of programs/activities in Regency/City.
Maruli Siregar also added that the implementation of this Rakornis starts from 12 February to 14 February in Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru. with participants totalling 65 people from the Department of Marine and Fisheries each Regency/City, each two persons, Water police Regency/City Coastal Waters as much as 7 persons and Officials of Administrator (Echelon III) and Supervisor (Echelon IV) Department of Marine and Fisheries of Riau.
Attended on the occasion, Secretary General of the Ministry of Marine and Fisheries of Indonesia, Riau Provincial Commission B, Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine UR, Plt Head of Marine and Fisheries Department of Riau Province, as well as the Head of the Department of Marine and Fisheries of Regency/City of Riau Province.
