Welcomed By Thousands Of Citizens, Gubri Want The Tradition Of Rayo Onam Become The Event Tours

PEKANBARU - Grave pilgrimage becomes one of the hereditary tradition of the community of the village of Muara Uwai, Subdistrict of Bangkinang, Kampar Regency, held on the sixth day of Idul Fitri "Rayo Onam".

For this year 1438 H "Rayo Onam" in Muara Uwai, open by the Governor of Riau, Arsyadjuliandi Rachman, Sunday (2/7/2017) in the morning, and attended by Regent of Kampar Aziz Zaimuaranal, Mayor of Pekanbaru Firdaus and thousands of communities of Muara Uwai.

Before the grave pilgrimage first carried out a condolence and common prayer by Imam Masjid Jami' Bangkinang, where there is a grave of the Ninik Mamak (ancestors) of Muara Uwai society.

After praying and grave pilgrimage, the community is greeting each other between contradictory fellow pilgrims and also greet the Governor and Regent of Kampar. Next event followed a joint breakfast at the Tuo house, not far from Jami' Mosque, Bangkinang.

A variety of food characteristic of Bangkinang, like, roti jala, lopek bugi, lemang tapai, lomang pasung, lontong, soto and a variety of other types of food.

The Governor of Riau, Arsyadjuliandi Rachman, said, the tradition of pilgrimage in Bangkinang will never endless.

And should be continued by the entire community of Bangkinang. In addition to delivering the invocation, this tradition has also become the event hospitality Society of Kampar.

"This grave pilgrimage already become the tradition of hereditary and need to keep on the move. In addition to hanging out with the family also became event hospitality society Kampar, who go home hometown from various areas. In fact, there are also citizens of Malaysia and Kampar neighbouring countries deliberately came to attend the grave pilgrimage, which at once became the sixth day of Idul Fitri at Bangkinang," said Gubri.

On this occasion, the Governor is also asking permission to society of Muara Uwai and Ninik Mamak, the tradition of the grave pilgrimage become one of Event Tourism. Gubri judging in any activity in Muara Uwai is more than a thousand people present. And it could become one of the tourist attractions, especially for neighbouring countries.

"Ninik Mamak permission, if allow this event can become a tourism destination. Insha Allah next year we'll invite more guests," said Gubri.
