PEKANBARU - Thousands of scouts, students and members of the Santri of Riau Province follow the Great Ceremony in order commemorate 56th Scout Day at Gajah Mada Street, Pekanbaru, Monday (14/8).

This ceremony, also attended the Governor of Riau, Pekanbaru, Mayor Kapolda of Riau, Danrem 031 Wirabima, Kajati Riau, Kakanwil Kemenag Riau and other invitations.
The Governor of Riau in his speech said that the scouting movement had the duty of carrying out the education for young people in the school environment that complements education in a family environment.
"The scout movement has a purpose in educating and fostering of young people in Indonesia to develop the mental, moral, spiritual, emotional, social, intellectual and physical, so it becomes a human personality, calm and ethical sublime," he said.
The Governor of Riau hope, the spirit of this ceremony could be transmitted to friends and colleagues organized or the surrounding environment.
"Because of the anti drugs, radicalism, terrorism and love of Pancasila that is the spirit that is transmitted to the next generation that must be built for the future," he hopes.
"The scout movement in need of management functions and the management of the good and true, so what is the purpose of the scout movement can be achieved," he added.
In the ceremony gets an award from the Indonesia World Records Museum (MURI) with category the most number of ceremony participants with a total of approximately 15.821.
The award was handed over to Senior managers of MURI, Yusuf told the Governor of Riau Province, with the participants more or less 15 thousand more participants to get involved in 56th Scouting Days commemoration. (MC Riau/Msa)
