PEKANBARU - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) of Riau Province staged annual meetings the subject of financial services industry, of Riau Province in 2017 in the Ballroom of Pangeran Hotel, Thursday (15/2).
The meeting was attended by the Governor of Riau Arsyadjuliandi Rahman, Chief of the OJK Riau, Muhammad Nurdin Subandi, the economist Aviliani, Kapolda Riau, Inspector Pol Zulkarnain, Head of BI Riau Province Siti Astiyah, Rector of the Islamic University of Riau and Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda).
The annual meeting this time takes the theme of "Maintaining the Stability of the Financial Services Sector and Build Optimism Improves the Welfare of Society."
On that occasion, the Governor of Riau conveys to all subjects of financial services in Riau Province to continue to seek a breakthrough in assisting and enhancing the growth of the economy in the Province of Riau.
"I expect all the subjects of financial services here, always compact and seek a new breakthrough, in helping economic development in the Province of Riau," says Gubri.
This opportunity the Governor of Riau also invites to all subjects of financial services and attempt to continue to dig into the potential that exists in Riau, in order to continue to be developed and improve.
"We present here to continue to encourage economic growth in the Province of Riau, although the results have not been significant, but the Government will continue working to improve the economic growth of communities," he added
Meanwhile the Head of the OJK Riau Representative, Nurdin Subandi said that close to the performance of the national economy recorded 2016 is still positive. Similarly, the stability of the financial system and the level of health of national financial institutions stay awake.
"The economy of Riau in 2016 grew 2,23% by recorded although lower than that achieved by 2015 of 4,45% and national economic growth reach of 5,02%," said Nurdin.
In addition, the Head of OJK Riau Representative back explaining that, recorded inflation rate of 4,04% higher than inflation nationally of 3,02%. Nevertheless, it is still in line with national development, and performance of the economy and the financial services industry in the Province of Riau also showed a positive development.
In addition to the Governor of Riau and Forkopimda, the meeting was also attended by the subjects of the financial services industry in Riau, from the insurance, securities, banking and a variety of other financial industries. (MC Riau/Msa)
