PEKANBARU - Department of Industry (Disperin) of Riau Province will establish an industrial area in Riau through the Technical Coordination Meeting (Rakornis) in the town of Selat Panjang, Riau, Meranti Island.
In these meetings, several programs and strategic activities around the Regency and City of Riau will follow up to speed up industrial sectors strengthens the vision & mission.
"The main purpose to harmonise programmes in the area of the Centre as well as the Provinces," said the Head of the Industrial Department of Riau Province, Muhammad Firdaus via cell phone connection when contacted, Thursday (16/2/2017).
It further said Firdaus, Disperin will do the regulation of industrial area, including Industrial of Dumai, Selensen Dumai City, Bengkalis Regency Tanjung Buton Siak Regency, Teknopolitan Pelalawan, Tenayan Raya City of Pekanbaru, and Kuala Enok Indragiri Hilir Regency.
"The development of creative industries that support the tourism sector will also take precedence. In addition, the development of downstream superior product areas such as coconuts, sago, palm oil, and rubber," he said. (MC Riau/rat)
