PEKANBARU - Governor of Riau, H. Arsyadjuliandi Rachman slightly to breathe a sigh of relief over concerns against the reduced revenue of the regional province of Riau in the healthcare sector. Because in Pekanbaru has been present Aulia Hospital which provides a service of international standard.

"Our society still gets their medical treatment abroad. There is about 3.000 society get the medical treatment to Malaysia every month," says Andi Rachman to the Minister of Health (Menkes) of RI Nila Farid Moeloek while attending the grand opening of Aulia Hospital Pekanbaru, Sunday (2/10/2016).

The number one person in Riau detailing, the flight from Pekanbaru to Malaysia every day there is a 250 seat. If there is a flight every day for 20 days, then there is 3.000 society of Riau gets the medication treatment to Malaysia/month.

"If each person brings Rp. 10 million. We've lost Rp. 30 billion/month. If a year already Rp. 360 billion. This does not include aviation and medicine to Singapore," he said.

To that end, he hoped the presence of Aulia Hospital can be alternative treatment goals for the society. "We really hope for Aulia Hospital can provide the best service to the community. So that people do not necessarily have to be abroad to get treatment," he said. (MC Riau/rat)
